My New Gadget, N95
Hi there, I just extended my contract with 3 for another 2 years and got this phone for free in the $69 cap. This is a wicked phone that had a lot brilliant features such as GPS and 5M Camera with Carl Zeiss lens. The first thing that im interested on this phone was the GPS. It has the Nokia Map pre-installed on the phone with lots of common map such as Australia and Malaysia. The application will automatically download the required map with WIFI, GPRS or HSPA.
Photos above show that the device had lock on the satellite and the GPS position was pointed to my current location in Perth. It take seconds to minutes to get the satellite locked. Average time is about 1 min.
It has some simple basic functions that allow us to search for nearby shops or service centers, also routing and navigating. Photos above show the route from my house to Curtin University. Navigation during driving require monthly or yearly subscription and that arent cheap. I probably cant afford that.
